This Ritchie SS-1002 Supersport compass was developed for (and tested on) offshore racing boats. Ritchie’s Supersport series of compasses have the PowerDamp Plus dial, which features the PowerDamp dial skirt to prevent oscillation, larger DirectiveForce magnets for quick lock on and extra-large steel pivots and jewels for smooth fast action.
