| 3.9 x 13 | DIN 7504 M (ISO 15481)* | 7.14 7.50 mm | 2.55 2.80 mm | Phillips H2 | ST3.9 | A2 Stainless Steel |
*Note: Dimensions for ST3.9 follow DIN 7981. These drilling screws are manufactured in A2 stainless steel with hardness ~200 HV, suitable for soft materials (e.g. aluminium, plasterboard, plastics). Not suitable for drilling into steels or harder alloys.
Manufactured from A2 (304) stainless steel, these screws combine corrosion resistance with reliable performance in light fabrication and assembly. The self-drilling point allows direct installation into thin sheet materials without pre-drilling, while the tapping thread cuts its own mating thread for a secure, vibration-resistant joint.
The pan head with Phillips (cross recessed) drive provides good torque transfer and a neat, low-profile finish. This makes the screw particularly suitable where flush or aesthetic installation is required.
Key Features:
Material: A2 (304) stainless steel excellent corrosion resistance
Head: Pan head with Phillips cross recess (H2/H3 drive sizes)
Function: Self-drilling point, self-tapping thread for secure fixing
Applications: Fixing thin sheet metal, aluminium profiles, light sections, and general purpose use in softer materials
Not recommended for drilling hardened steels (approx.>200 HV)
These pan head drilling screws provide fast installation, reliable holding power, and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in engineering, construction, HVAC, and general fabrication tasks.
