Description
A rigging screw is a connecting screw used to tighten and adjust rigging, stays or other wires. On a boat, primarily to stabilize the mast.
The turnbuckle consists of two fastening eyes or forks, attached to a right-handed and a left-handed screw. Between the ends is a “glove” that functions as a long nut. By turning the glove, the wire can be tensioned without twisting it. Thread x Fork width x Length x Breaking strength
